Randy Atwood and the Renegades
Playing country music in it's true form, straight from the heart of Nashville Tn.
Randy Atwood is the owner/manager of the Renegades as well as the lead singer and rhythm guitar, he has been playing music since he was 6 years old, he started playing in local restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area at the age of 13. His first "real" job was in the longest running show on the grand strand "High Steppin' Country. From there he went to Nashville, TN to work at OpryLand USA. Then in 1987 he enlisted in the US Coast Guard where he proudly served for 4 years, he has been entertaining visitors to the Myrtle Beach Area for over 30 years!
Lenard "Leo" Barham carries the bottom for the Renegades, Leo has played in several local bands in the Tri-State area for many years.Not only a great bass player but he is accomplished on the acoustic guitar as well as singing harmony. Leo is a retired police officer from the Greensboro, NC area
Chris has an extremely diverse musical background. Starting out on piano at age 8, picking up the viola at age 9, getting his first guitar when he was 11, adding bass, violin, mandolin, and vocal training along the way, Chris is a well-rounded talent of over 4 decades now.
As a former U.S. Marine with stellar discipline, Chris is truly driven, meticulous and professional about everything he does. He has performed in concert opening up for many big name acts including Blake Shelton, Tammy Wynette, Billy Ray Cyrus, Pure Prairie League, Headeast, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, and others, and has toured the USA and Canada with bands performing in clubs for over 30 years.
David Mccann has been playing guitar since he was eight years old and started playing mandolin at 10. He has played in bluegrass gospel bands for over 20 years and had his own bluegrass band called "Clear Ridge". He has shared the stage with acts such as Allison Krause, Ricky Skaggs, Third Tyme Out and Rhonda Vincent & lonesome river band and many others. David is from Greensboro NC but now lives in Cherry Grove North Myrtle Beach, SC
Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia Jeff started drumming at the age of 10 playing with his parents and brother in a family band called "The Nashville Connection." He experienced a very unique childhood by growing up performing every weekend in dance halls and honky-tonks. Jeff moved to Myrtle Beach in 2002 and has served several churches in the area providing percussion for contemporary services. His most interesting gig was when he got to perform with his brother, Greg, at the Vatican in Rome, Italy for the US Ambassador's 4th of July party one year. Jeff's favorite activity is investing time with his family. He and his high school sweetheart, Leanna, got married at age 20, have four grown children and one grandchild.
